A Christmas Poem

TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS,
HE LIVED ALL ALONE,
IN A ONE BEDROOM HOUSE MADE OF
PLASTER AND STONE.
I HAD COME DOWN THE CHIMNEY
WITH PRESENTS TO GIVE,
AND TO SEE JUST WHO

I never have fun at them-my husband and I just try to get out as soon as we can-we only go because he was told if he didn't he go he would be UA and NJP, and he hates going alone. I support all military, so don't get me wrong I am NOT downing anyone. I'm grateful to all-I'm just not the type to go anywhere with drinking like clubs or anything, I just prefer going somewhere with less people like a home party. But that's just me and my hubby I guess.

I am starting to get some trinkets and stocking stuffers for Christmas. I don't know for sure, of course, if and when he will deploy, but as an 0311, I assume that he will at some point, after he graduates ITB this week. I have some questions for all you experienced folks out there:

1. how much stuff is he allowed to take with him when he goes?
2. what are some good stocking stuffers that I could give him in preparation? I just ordered Monkey Butt foot powder, chicken...

My boyfriend is a reservist, he finished MOS at 29 Palms last month. Since then, he has not received any pay.
