Hello 2/9ers! Sunday night and just checking in. Today was stay at home and work around the house day. I was in the bathroom the other day after the
thunderstorms and felt water drip on my shoulder. NOT a good sign when its a 2nd floor bathroom and it is only the roof above me!!! My husband spent the day on
the roof cleaning gutters and I spent the day in the yard making sure he did it right!
Hope everyone had a GREAT weekend and heard from their Marine!

Good mornin', everybody! Hope everyone had a good weekend! I sure did but it feels like it ended too soon! Weapons is in the field all week again this week
and from the sounds of it next week and over the weekend two weeks from now, too. I reallllllllly don't like when they take their weekends away. Being gone
in the field always sucks, but if they keep it Mon-Fri, I can deal. When you take away their Saturday and Sunday too, that's just pushing it... especially
before Mojae Viper coming up fast...
Awe, Alicia that's great that your FIL came down with you. Hope you're getting all settled in by now. :) And weathered the storm last night. ;) It was crazzzy here. It was like hurricane raining. And my poor flowers were underwater. Tucker just laughed when I called him over to look out the back door because he knows how hard I've tried to get them to grow and actually live. And they were alll drooped over and looked pretty pathetic. lol 
Ahh, I think I'm gonna go get a couple more hours of sleep!I was so comfy I didn't want to get up when the alarm went off this morning. Have a good Monday! (If there is such a thing. :P) Katie

Oh Goodness Terry! Hope the leak isn't a big one, but any leak is bad! Hope you are able to get that fixed and that the hubby
cleared out the gutters accordingly!
Sounds like some are having a busy week. Elgie gets his wisdom teeth pulled tomorrow then I don't know if he has to go out into the field. I know he's out this weekend! What a drag! Katie, I'm with you. Going out for the week is one thing, but on the weekend as well? When do they get time off? Alicia, hoping you arrived safely and are settling yourself and Renee'. We miss you and anxiously await your return! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I was busy throwing stuff out! That's always a great feeling! Wising all a great Monday (umm... yeah Katie, I don't think that is possible  unless you are lucky enough to be off!)

This weekend went by too fast! I miss my mama so much! We had soooo much fun with her here. Went to a quilt show in Wilmington and drove all along the coast on
Saturday. It was so much fun and hubby had a great time too. Its so sad but i already have my time planed out until they return from MV! After they leave in
July in going up to WV to visit with family i think, and then im going up to ustate NY to suprise my grandparents with my mom. Im so sad, they arent doing
well. My grandmas Lupis is starting to get very bad and my grandpas Lukemia is taking a heavy toll on him. This is so hard to hear cause they have always been
my grandparents who always stayed the same, but the past few years its horrible to see what time has done to them. Im so afraid that i will loose both of them
during the deployment and i know without Josh here it would be a nightmare. BUT... im hoping that they end up like my great grandma. She is 98 and remembers
things that would blow your mind, from wayyyyy back in the early 1920s and before. But it looks like she is starting to take a turn for the worse too... im
just so sad right now. But i hope everyone has a good day and all.

Kim - we'll be remembering Elgie tomorrow. Now that he's going off base, will he be put to sleep? Hope all goes well. Good for you getting stuff cleaned out! I love going through closets, basement, garage, etc. and weeding out - but haven't done it for a while. Hopefully soon. Well, must get some work done. Will try check in later. Annette

Jessica - I think we were posting at the same time. Glad you had such a good time with your mom. Sometimes it is hard to get back to normal after enjoying
fun and special times together. And your hubby is gone all week too, right? Sounds like you're making good plans to occupy your time while he's away!

I feel for you, but know it is just as difficult on your Mom when she has to leave. I cry each and every time I have to say "see you soon" to my kids, of course on the plane not in front of them. I'm sorry to hear about your grandparents. My grandmother (the only one I have left) is 93, still going strong and will probably out live all of us! Please know that I am thinking of you during this difficult time. Hope you feel better soon. Is your Mom coming for the send off? I surely look forward to seeing everyone, just wish it was under different circumstances! Thank you Annette. Yes, he is going off base to an oral surgeon (thank goodness) so it shouldn't be that bad, however, me the big baby that I am feel for him having to experience any discomfort. I will let you know how it goes. Terry, Theresa, Celia, Kim, Carl (and anyone I've gotten CRS over and forgotten to mention) hope all is well with you and your Marines. Carl, you have been MIA now for awhile, hope all is well. Going to moderate some other areas, I'll check in later.

Hello all! Just a quick update on the whole roof thing! Do you have any idea what happens when you decide not to clean the gutters for 3 years because you
think those clip on things are going to keep everything out of the gutters? Well it isn't pretty and it doesn't smell very good either! The roof is
fixed and my husband has learned a very valuable lesson.........my way or listen to me say "I told you so" later! :ha ha

ok well I am back! haha I am thinking I am going to wait until I make it back to the states to mess with the pictures. but I have a question about this whole
field thing, Kris is out in the field, but my phone card has been acting stupid and I cant talk to him
I got through about an hour ago and his phone was
either turned off or dead, but ok...do they have to stay in the field over the weekend? I havent really had time to sit down and talk to Kris about it because
of the time differences. Ah. So.....im hoping someone can answer that for me? please?

Well I'm back! wow what a drive-yes Katie I survived the rain-we were going to get some dinner when the bottom fell out of the cloud! I got a free
shower-lol I'm worried about my furniture fitting in our new home, but it'll work- just might be a little tight in th eliving room.its amazing how
quickly men fall back to their bacholor habbits-there are piles of things everywhere in my house, no orginization and I am going in sane-I can't find the
canopener either-ahhhhh. TMO is supposed to come on Fri. but with Paul in the field that is going to be interesting! He's building a shed for all of his
tools and such so those will atleast be out of the house! Well it is good to be back! I missed everyone over the weekend, but I did survive
 I had to find a
bunch of places yesterday so I was driving all around town-my first day in Jville and I have a map trying to figure out where to go-they did let Paul off so he
could help me file our tavel claim and other stuff that I needed to take care of-so he was able to help me with some of the stuff, but he had no clue where the
WIC office was and things like that-so it was an adventure yesterday, but I didn't get very lost! yay
well I need to feed Renee' I will b back on later. Katie-inbox me if you want to get together this week I'm sure I'll need a sanity break from this mess! PMW of PFC Paul

Meg - they well be in the field over the weekend of the 13th. I have a calander on my fridge and ill scan it later and post it where you can look at it if you
would like. I have up till August. They only wrote dates down for that month, i dont think they know exactly what they are doing yet.

Jessica-if you could inbox me the calendar too that would be great-Paul never tells me anything, I just got here sunday and he left this morning and all I know
is that I'll see him friday. From what has been said on here-I'm worried that we are going to miss our wedding anniversary this year too-we still
haven't been able to celebrate an anniversary and we'll be married three years on the 18th . I don't know I am board out of my mind right now- I
should be cleaning up hubby's mess, but am too sleepy and Renee' is sleeping so I can't go turning on all of the lights(she's in our room right
now, until she gets readjusted to the new environment and I get my monitor back-TMO packed it and you can't hear from one end of the trailor to the other
when the air kicks on and with the fish tank running an dmy baby girl is not a very loud cryer-I'm afraid I would sleep through it-don't want that)
Well not much else going on here-I completely understand why the rest of you wives hate the field now-before I wanted nothing more then to live under the same
roof as my husband-but he really isn't under the same roof is he? just the same address *sigh* well hope everyone has a great night!

Those calendars are never right though. Things change so much, and they never end up doing a lot of it. So I hope you guys don't worry too much about the
schedule. Half the things they say on there you don't know what they mean cause they're abbreviated so much. I wish they understood that we are wives
and do not know what these terms all mean and just took a few extra seconds to write it out for us.
Hope everyone has got to hear from their Marines lately. I haven't heard from Tucker yet tonight, but last night the texts didn't come til 1:45am! Fingers crossed one comes tonight! Oh, and P.S. I got another job! So it looks like all worked out for the best. :) Hope you're having fun on your trip, Meg! I saw you're facebook saying you want to be back in the USA. lol Goodnight all! Well... i dont know if id trust every word on it but it is helpfull because unless you hear otherwise its right about when they will be in the field. You dont
have to devote yourself to trusting it, its just comforting to know what the general plan is for the months to come. At least thats how i see it.

Oh- I'm not expecting the cal. to be exactly right-I just like to have a general idea of things since Paul hasn't gotten in the habbit of telling me
