We need your help! The girlfriends, fiancées and wives of the USMC Yuku board are organizing a cookbook
that will be printed and sold. The money raised by the sale of these books will be donated to the board so that Lori can keep it running. We are collecting
favorite recipes from our board members to publish in this beautiful spiral bound cookbook. Each recipe that is selected will show the name and USMC relation
of the contributor. Please send us up to 3 of you or your Marine's favorite recipes as soon as possible.
To submit your recipe(s), just type it in an email addressed to our cookbook volunteers at: USMCYuku@gmail.com
(Using the example below as your format). Be sure to use the recipe's section as the subject of your email (Using the section choices from below) and
include:
-The name of your recipe
-Ingredients
-Detailed directions
-Your name
-Your relation to the USMC.
Please submit your recipe(s) by September 1st to be sure they're included in the book.
These personalized cookbooks will make great gifts and will keep our beloved board going for another year! Help us spread the word to all our members by
reminding them to submit their recipes. Once all the recipes are collected and the book is ready for print, we will post the ordering information. Thank you

Recommended abbreviations:
c. = cup; Tbsp. = tablespoon; tsp. = teaspoon; pkg. = package; oz. = ounce; lb. = pound; qt. = quart; pt. = pint; in. = inch

Example Recipe:
Jane's Taco Dip
2 cans refried beans1 pkt. Taco seasoning
8 oz. sour cream
8 oz. cream cheese
Mexican blend cheese, shredded
Chives, optional
Allow cream cheese to soften and heat oven to 350~F. Slowly beat the cream cheese and sour cream together until smooth. Gently add in the beans and seasoning. Pour mixture into baking dish and bake 10 - 15 minutes or until bubbling. Remove from oven and cover with cheese and chives. Bake another 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve with your favorite chips.
