Welcome to the
Memorial Day 2017
May 29, 2017 is Memorial Day this year. It is the day set aside to remember those who have died in active military service.
For those of us who are family to active duty Marines, we share in their remembrance of their brothers and sisters who have died while serving. They honor the legacy of 241 plus years and they do understand the pledge each has made to their Corps.
We also remember family, friends and honored strangers who died in service to our benefit. We owe them to be remembered and honored on this day especially and on each and every day.
Without being trite, to quote Private Ryan, "Have I led a good life?" That is what we owe.
